The next generation winch for AHTS vessels
TTS is now taking anchor handling to the next level by introducing Active Heave Compensation (AHC) on their winches. By combining the best technology from both our "standard" anchor handling/towing winches togehter with our experience within active heave compensated subsea winches we have now developed a winch, introduced as the next generation for AHTS vessels. The solution as simple as it is advanced by the fact that the system is developed to fit on any TTS standard anchor handling/towing winch. The system does not need special vessel design and can be installed on any kind of AHT or AHTS vessel. Even upgrades of existing vessels are possible. By using our AHC technolgy on our AHT winches we will enable any kind of AHTS vessel to provide services for the following:
- Anchor handling
- Towing
- Trenching
- Subsea installations
