TTS Marine ASA’s crane division in Norway (TTS) has landed a contract worth approximately NOK 67m. The contract concerns delivery of offshore cranes and the delivery will take place from spring 2008 till the end of 2009.
TTS has resumed its activities within delivery of cranes to offshore vessels. The first contacts for delivery of 8 offshore cranes in total, worth a total of approximately NOK 126m were reported to Oslo Stock Exchange 19 January 2007. By landing contracts for delivery of 4 offshore cranes in addition to the above mentioned, TTS has a contract volume worth a total of NOK 193m. A brisk market for offshore cranes, combined with existing customer relations and qualifications, is expected to result in several contracts concerning delivery of offshore cranes in future.
The market prospects are very good for the next years to come.
The cranes will have a lifting capacity up to 60 tonnes and have equipment for heave compensation. The active heave compensations system (ACH) enables the cranes to operate up to 1500 metres depth even in rough sea. TTS has delivered similar cranes in the past.
